How it works
Step 1
Emergency or same-day, you'll get a real arrival range — not 'the truck is somewhere.'
Step 2
Gauges, meters, and a plain-language finding. You approve the repair before parts come off the truck.
Step 3
Workmanship warranty on every repair. If it isn't right, we come back.

DIY shop
Filters, carbon monoxide detectors, a Nest thermostat, room purifiers, drain tablets, foil tape, and a line-set cover. Things you can actually do without a license. We do not sell capacitors, refrigerant, gas valves, or live electrical parts — if the job needs a wrench on the furnace, request service.
Answer 2 quick questions and get the right filter, CO detector, or thermostat.

Common size. Swap every 1–3 months.
The size most Denver ranch homes take. Measure the one that's in there — a gap around a cheap filter just blows dust past it.

DIY furnace filters / common sizes
DIY furnace filters in the common 16×25×1 size. A four-pack so you are not hunting a filter every month.
View on Amazon
Pet & allergen filters
Pet and allergen filters for a 20×25×1 return. Still measure the old one before you order.
View on Amazon
Thick media filters
Thick media filters for a 4-inch rack. Don't force a 1-inch filter into a 4-inch slot.

Furnace filters
Start heating season with a clean filter. This covers the common 16x20x1 size.

One near sleeping areas.
Furnaces and water heaters make carbon monoxide. A working battery detector is the first DIY item every house should have.
View on Amazon
Sleeping areas. Follow local code.
Plug-in carbon monoxide alarm for sleeping areas. Follow local code on placement — one detector is not a whole-house plan.

Smoke & CO
Fall is a good time to test your alarms. A combo unit covers both smoke and CO in one device.

C-wire / compatibility
A wall thermostat most Denver homes can run. Many furnaces need a C-wire for power — check compatibility before you pull the old one.

Thermostats
Set a heating schedule for the season and stop heating an empty house.
View on Amazon
Thermostats
For ecobee owners: room sensors help even out cold bedrooms by heating based on the rooms people are actually in. Works only with ecobee thermostats, not the Nest.

Room purifiers
A small room purifier for a bedroom or office. It is not a furnace filter and it does not clean the ducts.
View on Amazon
Room purifiers
A larger room purifier when one room needs more airflow. Still a plug-in box — not whole-home filtration.

DIY exterior finish
Covers the insulated lines on the outside of the house. Finish only — it does not replace a vacuum, charge, or 240-volt hookup.
View on Amazon
Outdoor unit
A top-only mesh cover keeps leaves and hail off the outdoor unit over winter and still lets it breathe. We don't recommend full wraps.
View on Amazon
Doesn't replace a real drain flush.
Drop in the drain pan so algae doesn't clog the line and flood the closet. Power off before you open a panel.
View on Amazon
Look for UL 181 listed.
Seals leaky flex and metal joints. Real foil HVAC tape — not the cloth roll from the junk drawer.

Indoor evaporator only.
For a dirty indoor coil you can actually see. Power off, spray, leave it. If you have to pull the cabinet, that's our job.
View on Amazon
Doesn't replace duct cleaning.
Gets the last two feet at the grille. Handy between professional cleanings — it is not a whole-home duct cleaning.
View on Amazon
Dryer vent, not furnace ducts.
Vacuum hose attachment and a long flexible lint brush for the lint trap and the first stretch of dryer vent. Clean the lint trap every load. This is dryer venting — it is not HVAC duct cleaning.
View on Amazon
Unplug the dryer first.
Flexible rods up to 30 feet with brush heads, by hand or on a drill, to push lint out of the dryer vent run to the outside hood. Go slow at elbows. Crushed, disconnected, or roof-vented runs are a service call.

Power off at the disconnect.
Foaming AC coil cleaner for coils, fan blades, and reusable filters you can reach without pulling panels. No rinse needed. Turn the power off first. If you'd have to open the cabinet, that's our job.

Water panels
Put a fresh water panel in your whole-house humidifier before heating season so it can keep up with Colorado's dry winter air.

Humidity readout
A simple humidity readout helps you set your humidifier right for our dry climate, without overdoing it and fogging up the windows.
View on Amazon
Room humidifier
A bedroom humidifier adds comfort when the furnace is running. It's a room unit, not a whole-house system.
View on Amazon
Door drafts
Sealing the gap under a drafty door keeps cold air out so the furnace doesn't work as hard on windy nights.
View on Amazon
Vents & airflow
Points warm air out from under furniture or drapes and into the room. Don't use it to fully block registers.

Mini-splits, UV lights, and whole-home humidifiers aren't DIY. You buy the unit on Amazon — we hang it.
You buy, we installYou buy, we install
Mini-splits, UV lights, whole-home humidifiers. Buy the unit on Amazon — we install it in the Denver metro area. Refrigerant, 240-volt, and water lines stay on us.

We size, hang, vacuum, and charge.
Garage, addition, or a room the ducts never reached. You buy the kit on Amazon — we hang the head, run the line set, vacuum, and charge it. Refrigerant and 240-volt are not DIY.

Coil-mounted. Not a table lamp.
A germicidal lamp at the indoor coil, not a gadget for the living room. UV-C is hard on eyes and skin — we mount it in the air handler and wire it on the right voltage.

Water line, drain, and bypass.
Bypass or fan-powered unit on the furnace — not a tabletop tank. Needs a saddle valve, a drain, and a bypass takeoff. We plumb it so it actually humidifies the house.

Rescue install
Amazon box in the garage. Indoor head on the wall, line set hanging. UV light still in the carton. We finish installs homeowners start — no lecture. Tell us what you bought and where it stopped.
